On Sunday, June 1, 2025, the Albanian Muslim Society of Toronto held its Extraordinary General Meeting at our current mosque at 564 Annette Street. This meeting marked a historic moment for our community, as members gathered to vote on two critical decisions affecting the future of our congregation.
We are pleased to share that 61 verified members participated in the vote, and the results were unanimous:
- Purchasing the new property at 1 City View Dr, Toronto, ON M9W 5A5
This unified outcome reflects the strength, vision, and trust of our growing community as we move toward a future that meets our expanding needs.
What’s Next
A Second Extraordinary General Meeting will take place on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Mississauga Valley Park – Picnic Areas C & D. The vote will happen from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, following our statute to vote again on the same points. This will be the FINAL vote for these two decisions.
