The Albanian Muslim Society of Toronto invites all members to attend our Second Extraordinary General Meeting on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Mississauga Valley Park – Picnic Areas C & D, located at 1275 Mississauga Valley Blvd, Mississauga, ON L5A 3R8. The voting will take place between 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
This important meeting will take place immediately following our annual community picnic. We encourage everyone to join us for a day of food, fellowship, and community decision-making.
What’s on the Agenda?
The meeting will continue the discussions and decisions initiated during the June 1 meeting. Specifically, members will be voting on:
- The purchase of a new property:
1 City View Drive, Etobicoke, ON M9W 1J1 - The sale of our current mosque:
564 Annette Street, Toronto, ON M6S 2C2
Please note:
The sale of the current mosque will only proceed if the new property is successfully purchased. This ensures that our community will have a place to gather and worship without interruption.
Voting Eligibility
- Only verified members who are 18 years of age or older will be allowed to vote
- Valid photo identification is required at check-in
- Official attendance will be taken at the meeting
If a member of your household is unable to attend in person but would still like to vote, they may do so by completing a proxy voting form. These forms are available upon request and must be submitted in accordance with the Society’s guidelines.
